Dr Paul O. wrote one of the personal stories in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, called Doctor, Alcoholic, Addict (BB Third Edition).

 

In the Fourth Edition the story is called Acceptance Was The Answer. Here are some useful quotes from the chapter:
